McDougall Interactive is seeking an entry level, full time Search Engine Marketing Specialist. If you have solid computer skills, love surfing the internet and would like to become an internet marketing professional, we can provide you with a new career in a hot industry. Work in a fun, casual environment. Extensive training is provided. No Experience necessary.

Job Description:

Most of this job is centered on establishing links from other sites to our client’s sites. This involves lots of daily Google searches, documenting topically related sites and emailing the site owners to establish partnerships. Links analysis is what made Google a success. This is not a sales job but good communication skills are important as is a willingness to research a variety of industries and to identify the top sites. Online Press Release, Directory, Social Media Submissions and other types of link building are also part of the job.

Tasks

Google Surfing, Link Building, Search Engine Marketing , Purchasing website advertisements, mostly via email.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Familiarity with searching the Internet, Reasonably fast typing skills
Must have proficient written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
Must have extensive experience with Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel)
Existing Microsoft Excel experience making spreadsheets is ideal

A plus but not required:

Understanding of our industry: SEM, SEO & PPC
A college degree is preferred, but not required
Have some Web Development Skills (HTML, CSS, DHTML etc)
